The latest addition to Plaas Media’s broadcast offering is an agricultural podcasting service. This visually engaging medium offers an easy, no-fuss manner of conveying technical content for the eye and the ear.
This Afrikaans radio programme is broadcast on RSG from Monday to Thursday mornings from 05:25 to 05:55. Lise Roberts is the presenter and producer. The content covers the entire agricultural spectrum.

Projects
The Santam Agriculture National Silage Competition is hosted annually in co-operation with Veeplaas and Stockfarm. The purpose of the competition is to make a contribution towards the promotion of good silage practices. Every year the search is on for South Africa’s next silage king.

he Toyota SA National Young Auctioneer Competition was initiated in 2013 by Veeplaas and Stockfarm magazines. The competition is held to promote the livestock auctioneering profession, one of the pillars of the South African livestock industry. Participants are judged in categories according to rostrum performance, livestock knowledge and industry knowledge.
